Before he ever held a pair of tweezers, Stephen was the one on the treatment table. He has been a hair-removal client far longer than he has been a practitioner, which means every service he offers at MAIR Care, he has first felt on his own skin.
Stephen came to this work the long way around. He has spent roughly thirty years in IT, and still does, running both careers side by side with a hard wall between them. When you are on his table, the laptop is shut and you have his complete, unhurried attention.
Stephen opened MAIR Care in The Beaches in 2013, built on an idea that felt overdue: the same skill, the same professionalism, and the same fair price for everyone, offered discreetly, with no one ever told this is a female-only service and sent home to the razor.

The letters behind the name
Stephen is a Certified Professional Electrologist (C.P.E.) and serves as a Board Director of the Federation of Canadian Electrolysis Associations (FCEA). His training runs from waxing and medical aesthetics through laser and electrolysis, and he has never stopped adding to it. He stays endlessly curious, always pursuing the next advanced skill and certification, so keep an eye on this space.
