More Ways to Pay at MAIR Care

August 30, 2026
A client tapping a phone to pay a $226.00 MAIR Care invoice on a Square terminal in Toronto.

Paying Just Got Easier

Most people book, come in, get their treatment, and want to be out the door without any fuss at the counter.

I have added a couple of payment options, and I have never actually published the full list anywhere. Both of those change today.

What I Accept

  • Interac e-Transfer (new)
  • Cash
  • Debit
  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Tap, Apple Pay, and Google Pay

No minimum, no surcharge for using a credit card, and no pushing you toward one over another.

Waxing, laser, electrolysis, a single session or a full plan. Use whichever one suits you that day, and change it next time if you feel like it.

e-Transfer Is the New One

Interac e-Transfer now goes to booking@maircare.com.

Autodeposit is on, so there is no security question to make up, no password to text me separately, and nothing for me to accept at my end.

Your Interac confirmation will say the money went to 9472363 CANADA INC. rather than MAIR Care. That is the corporate name on the account, so nothing has gone wrong if it looks unfamiliar.

Send it before your appointment or while you are still on the table. Either is fine.

Gift Certificates Are Now Available

Hair removal is a hard thing to buy for someone else.

You do not know:

  • which service they want
  • which area they have in mind
  • how far along they already are
  • or whether they have even mentioned it to you

A gift certificate solves that. You pick the amount, they pick the service.

What They Cover

Anything at MAIR Care Inc.:

  • Waxing
  • Laser
  • Electrolysis
  • Thermocoagulation
  • Consultations

One session or a full treatment plan. If the balance runs out partway, it can be topped up with any other payment method.

They Do Not Expire

Ontario law bans expiry dates on most gift cards, and I have no interest in the loopholes that would let me add one.

So there is:

  • no expiry date
  • no activation fee
  • no service fee
  • no dormancy fee eating away at the balance while it sits in a drawer

What you pay is what they get, whenever they get around to using it. Someone who receives one of these might take months to work up to a first appointment, especially for an intimate service, and there is no reason to rush them.

The Occasions People Buy Them For

  • Birthdays
  • Christmas
  • Hanukkah
  • Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha
  • Diwali
  • Lunar New Year
  • Nowruz
  • Valentine's Day
  • Mother's Day and Father's Day
  • Graduations
  • Weddings, engagements, and anniversaries
  • Pride
  • A new job, a promotion, or a retirement

And the Reasons People Actually Buy Them

  • A bachelor party, where the gift can be as generous or as cruel as you like
  • A first date, or the hope of one
  • Cottage weekends, camping trips, and anywhere you plan to be wearing less
  • Sexy times
  • Someone preparing for gender-affirming surgery, where the clearance work is a real expense
  • Someone partway through a laser or electrolysis plan, which is where the group card option earns its keep
  • A partner who has mentioned, more than once, that they are tired of shaving

Buy One Online

Buy a MAIR Care gift certificate

Square calls them eGift cards. Same thing.

You can pick $100, $150, $200, $500, or type in any amount you want. It goes to the recipient by email or text, and you can set the date it arrives if you are buying ahead.

There is also a group option, so several people can pool into one card. Useful for a milestone birthday, or for a stag.

Or Just Ask Me

If you would rather do it in person, ask at your next appointment and tell me the amount and the recipient's name.

That way you can pay by e-Transfer or cash, and if you want it to arrive as an actual physical thing rather than an email, that is easy enough to do.

Bottom Line

Pay however you like. e-Transfer, cash, debit, or any major card, with no surcharge and no minimum.

Gift certificates are available for any amount, they never expire, and they let the person receiving one choose what is actually right for them.

You can buy one online here, or just ask me next time you are in.
